You Pick When You Use Your Discount on Unkers Products!

Unker’s is pleased to announce our new discount program, guaranteed to fit your purchasing needs for our medicated salve products. Everyone benefits from Unkers, your medicine cabinet in a jar. If you are an existing Unker’s customer that purchases less than five cases of product per year, you received a letter from us about this new discount program. In case you did not, we want to outline it on our web site so everyone can take part in the savings.

In years past, Unkersheld two sales months each year, where customers could “stock up” on our multi-purpose medicated products with a 10% discount. Now, we will continue offering two discounts per customer per year, but this time YOU get to decide when the discount will be! Effective January 1, 2012, customers will receive two (2) 10% discounts off the Tier I Volume Pricing, but you choose when to use them. This new program gives the customers flexibility and control, and eliminating the need to wait for a sale time to make a purchase!

Here is how you can take advantage of our new flexible discount program:

Place an order and simply tell us to apply one of your discounts.
We make a note of the date and ship your products.
When you decide to use your 2^nd discount, we will again note the date and remind you that you have used both discounts for the year.
Beginning each January you will have two (2) 10% discounts to use anytime during that calendar year. No more waiting for the mailman.

Relieving Migraines and Sinus Headaches

Migraine sufferers know all too well how debilitating these headaches can be – symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light can temporarily bring life to a screeching halt. What’s more, there are not any clear-cut medications that make migraines go away completely, either. There are things migraine sufferers can do at the onset of a migraine to lessen the effects. But typically, once a migraine begins, it takes time, hydration, and a quiet, dimly-lit room to recover.

Getting to the source of a migraine is critical. Typically, migraines occur more frequently in women than men, and they may run in families. Migraines tend to first appear between the ages of 10 and 45. Identifying migraine triggers is essential. By keeping a diary of when your headaches occur, how severe they are, how much sleep you have had, what you’ve eaten, etc., you can learn a lot, and make changes to avoid the onset of a migraine. Even simple steps, such as getting more sleep (consecutive hours, not naps), and hydrating yourself with Gatorade can go a long way into getting migraine relief.

Sinus headaches differ from migraines in that they typically involve a constant pain in the cheekbones, forehead or bridge of the nose. Usually these headaches are accompanied by other sinus symptoms, such as nasal discharge, fever or swelling. Because sinus headaches are often associated with a sinus infection, antibiotics are usually prescribed. Decongestants are also helpful in relieving headache symptoms associated with sinus infections because they constrict the blood vessels that cause the pain. However, be careful taking decongestants in treating symptoms unless you know you have a sinus infection. They could make your headache worse if you do not have a true sinus headache.

Unker’s Multi-Purpose medicated products help with arthritis pain and joint pain and a number of other common ailments such as sores, muscle pain, minor injuries, bug bites and cramps. Our furry friends suffer similar ailments, and that’s why we want to spread the word on Unker’s effectiveness for animals.

How do I become a Dealer?

"I have an amazing story about Unker's that I am experiencing right now. I had a SEVERE gout attack several years ago that left what appears to be nerve damage in my feet. I have a constant burning sensation as if my feet are in hot water - some days much worse than others. It is bad enough that I have not been able to work for over 2 years.

My Dad suggested I try Unker's and I sorta laughed it off because Unker's is for colds, coughs, etc.....so I thought. Thankfully, I decided to give it a whirl in spite of my doubts. Last nite it was too painful to go to church. My wife rubbed a small amount of Unker's on both feet and within 30 minutes the burring pain was almost gone.

I applied it again this morning and the same results! I have been battling this pain for several years now and to think I may have finally found something as simple as Unker's that makes a difference is almost unbelievable. I would like to know what it takes to become a dealer for Unker's. As close as I can tell, we have no dealers in our area and I would like to change that. I know it’s a popular item for our church people as most of us have moved here from somewhere back east - Ohio for me."

We have heard from several Unker’s customers in recent months inquiring about where they can purchase Unker’s medicated salve, Natu-Rub medicated spray and our line of personal care products! We are glad to receive feedback from you, and that’s why we are devoting this blog entry to answering that question!

Unker’s is blessed to have multiple dealers of our line of products throughout the United States, Canada and Virgin Islands. In fact, our products can be found in all 50 states! Rather than competing with our dealers, the Unker’s web site showcases all of our different product offerings available (see Products page). There, you will find information about each multi-purpose medicated product or personal care product, including ingredient information and various uses of the products.

And, after determining which product (s) meet your needs, you can see if there is a location or store near your home. Simply click on our “Dealer” page and click on your state or country. Several of our dealers have their own web sites. You will notice that many dealers have an “*” by their listing. In that case, the dealer does not have a web site.

If you find that a dealer is not located nearby, please call Unker’s at 888-866-2843, and we will point you in the right direction so that you can get your Unker’s products as soon as possible. In addition, several of our dealers offer online ordering, enabling you to order from the convenience of your home. We will be adding an “Online Ordering” tab to our Dealer page which will list all of the different web sites where you can order online.
