April marks a very special milestone for Unker’s Multi-Purpose Medicated Products! We are celebrating our 30^th Anniversary! As you know, our business has roots dating back to the 1930’s when current President Pat Pendleton’s great uncle discovered a formula for a naturally medicated salve. Because ingredients were scarce during the Great Depression and later with wars, sales of the salve didn’t take off. However, in 1982, Pat’s father perfected the original 1902 formula and began selling the product door-to-door in Central Ohio Amish communities. Today, what is now known as Unker's® sells throughout the world, and we are pleased to be celebrating 30 years in business!

Nothing quite compares to feeling good and healthy, which is why we proudly promote Unker’s line of medicated products for a multitude of uses! A close second to feeling good might be earning discounts and free product, though! Post Time for Horse Racing Season

In previous blog posts, we have mentioned how Unker’s products can effectively treat not only people, but also animals. Because the ingredients in our products are all natural, they are safe for humans and animals. From arthritis pain, muscle aches and cramps to soothing relief for cuts and bruises, Unker’s multi-purpose medicated products provide a safe alternative to other products on the market.

As spring arrives, so do enjoyable outdoor activities, including one of our all-time favorites, horse racing. While the sport of horse racing is exciting to watch, it can take a toll on horses. Like humans, horses experience aches and pains during or after strenuous exercise. Race horses endure sore ligaments, joints, feet and leg muscles as a result of training and competing.
